We are now a few short months away from Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Ahead of its March release date, Nintendo decided to delight fans with a trailer. Isabelle is the main character focus on the trailer as well as the villagers.
Inside the trailer, we have the infamous Tom Nook who attempts to get everyone to the “Deserted Island Getaway Package,” which is where New Horizons will take place — a deserted island. So what does this Getaway Package consist of? Here it is:
- Natural abundance — i.e. fruit! Lots of it!!!
- The ability to “build a new life from scratch,” Which was demonstrated by a character cutting down a tree.
- “An island full of possibilities,” shown by a character creating a pathway around their home along with its decorations.
The trailer for Animal Crossing: New Horizons doesn’t show us anything new that we didn’t already know. About the only thing, it demonstrates to us is the clean art style. The end card though in the trailer gives us a glimpse at the Japanese box art for the game, which releases on the Nintendo Switch on March 20 around the world.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons will release on March 20 for Nintendo Switch. It features an expanded crafting system called “DIY Recipes,” as well as a full season cycle, local and online multiplayer modes, and full customization across the deserted island. Even if you can’t take a real vacation this year, you can certainly get a nice alternative by venturing to the island and making it your own.
