Tokyo Tapioca Land is Almost Here
First Boba tea took America by storm. Then there was the Boba Tea Challenge which had people attempt to hold up their drink with no hands, now there is a Boba Tea theme park coming to Japan. It took a while for the craze to take a hold of Tokyo. We have seen everything from tapioca ramen, official Pokémon tapioca drinks, and tapioca beer. It is official that Japan loves Boba.
If you are a Tapioca super fan then you want to book your flights to Japan very soon. There is going to be a pop-up tapioca drink “theme park” opening up for a limited time in Harajuku! Tokyo. The limited-run will be from August 13th thru September 16th. You can find it located in front of Harajuku station.
1,000-yen ($9.27 USD) pre-sale tickets have already sold out. Tickets purchased at the door will cost 1,200 yen ($11.13 USD). Judging by the speed with which pre-sale tickets were snatched up, there will likely be lines of bubble tea fans each day for a glimpse of boba paradise which promises to be an Instagram photo-op dream. “We offer various attractions, such as collaborations with celebrity store managers and a Tapioca tour,” the event organizers said in a press release.
According to AsiaOne, a 14-year-old girl from Zhejiang province told her parents that she had stomach pain, wasn’t hungry, and hadn’t had a bowel movement in at least five days. What Happened? Well her blockage was caused by Tapioca balls
