TJATOMIC Brings us The Pokémon Short we Realize we Needed!
Reading Time: 1 minute
Over on Reddit, a fan by the name TJATOMIC, posted a bit of animation he did for the Japanese anime. The clip, which can be seen below, was crafted using Unreal Engine and shows what looks to be a haunting start to a very intriguing game premise. The title of the project is:
An Unreal Engine scene I made based on if a Pokemon Trainer accidentally lost their Pokemon – Title: Where Are You?
According to TJATOMIC, the Unreal Engine scene was inspired by a depressing idea. TJATOMIC says the reel shows what might happen if a Pokemon Trainer were to lose one of their PokeBalls. A reality that would possibly happen in real life. It brings up question like, How does the Pokémon get out? Perhaps they are equipped with GPS and it send you a notification in the Pokédex.
The Pokémon Company recently purchased a set of domains for the franchise. Registered with the names Pokemon Let’s Go: Pikachu as well as Pokemon Let’s Go: Eevee. What did you think about the short? Have you seen the awesome things people have been doing with the newest Unreal Engine 4? Let us know in the comments below.
