More Netflix Sorcery As They Give Us The Dragon Prince
Netflix’s The Dragon Prince
Netflix has gotten a lot more aggressive with its offerings. Depending on ones perception it can be said that platform is delivering goods to the people. The Dragon Prince is a new one coming to you from the team that brought you Avatar: The Last Airbender. During Saturday’s San Diego Comic-Con panel, the cast and crew of the series treated fans to a sneak-peek screening of the show’s premiere episode.
The first five minutes of The Dragon Prince, titled “Echoes of War,” introduces the conflict of the series. It gives audiences a brief history lesson about a time when dragons and elemental magic ruled the land. Predictably, humans had to mess everything up. Dark magic was used to destroy Thunder, the King of the Dragons. He kept the peace between the humans and Shadowelves, the ancient land found itself split into two battling factions.
The panel of The Dragon Prince also gave us a closer look at show’s trio of protagonists (and their respective voice actors): Prince Callum (Jack De Sena), his younger brother Prince Ezran (Sasha Rojen), and Rayla (Paula Burrows), the moonshadow elf. The official Twitter account later clarified that the glow toad that Ezran is holding is named Bait.
Surprise! Our three main characters! The voice of Prince Callum is Jack De Sena! The voice of Rayla, the moonshadow elf, is Paula Burrows! And the voice of Prince Ezran is Sasha Rojen! pic.twitter.com/R5YBW7bWOA
