The Future of Rick and Morty is Looking Beautiful
Season 4 hasn’t happened yet. It might not ever happen. At least that is the prediction. We at Geek Impulse though believe that it will happen. There are rumors that YouTube might snag the series and are in talks for it to stream exclusively on their YouTube Red platform.
We did get a great Rick and Morty Run the Jewels Music video. Because of the video a passionate fan tweeted to Dan Harmon. In response to this fan Dan tweeted this:
I hear ya, tough spot. On one hand, it can be challenging, especially with crippling lazy alcoholism, to write a show that hasn’t been ordered by a network. On the other hand, the thought that fans like you pay the price…I mean…I’m gonna grab a drink https://t.co/mvn9nthxCE

Fans of the show have frequently voiced their concerns Rick and Morty related concerns such as when overly demanding fans went crazy at various McDonald’s locations back when the fast food chain released its Szechuan Sauce, which was made famous again by the show!
Rick and Morty is one of Adult Swim’s biggest hits right now and it wouldn’t make any business sense to cut off its enthusiastic fanbase at the peak of the show’s existence. The shows writer Ryann Ridley did an interview a few months back where he said things that would put the show coming back in mid 2019. That is a long time, but it did take 18 months for us to get a third season of the show.
