Nintendo Announced Pokémon Sword & Shield Games
During a special video presentation on Wednesday morning, Nintendo revealed the three new starting Pokémon and the game’s new region, Galar
The most current additions to the world of Pokémon was revealed Wednesday morning. The video game franchise added Pokémon Shield and Pokémon Sword. Along with it came new starter characters.
“Pokémon Sword” and “Pokémon Shield,” are role-playing games that have some similarities to “Pokémon Sun” and “Pokémon Moon.” It also takes place in a whole new region in the Pokémon universe. This region is known as Galar. These games will be fully rendered in 3D that will have several camera angles to give the game a more cinematic feel.
Nintendo showed us the three new starter Pokémon. Those are Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble. There are more than 800 Pokémon and in this game, there is said to be even more new monsters for fans to get excited about. The games will be released in mid to late 2019 for the Nintendo Switch.
