In recent commercials in Japan, Jackie Chan showcases his Martial Arts skill to promote Dragon Quest on Mobile. The game in question is Hoshi no Dragon Quest, or Star of Dragon Quest, on mobile and is a very popular title in Japan.
As a “legendary martial art master,” 64-year-old Chan shows his dynamic kung fu moves using the game’s weapons, such as Golden Dragon’s Nails and Rubiss’ Fan, in the world of the game. 77-year-old Hiroya Ishimaru, who has voiced Chan in Japanese dub since the late-1970s, serves as narrator. When you take into consideration the level of creative involvement of Akira Toriyama, having Jackie Chan help promote the game is the best choice. Jackie Chan is seen as a Level 99 fighter sporting the golden dragon claw along with the fan of Rubiss. Remember that Dragon Quest XI is also released later this year for PlayStation 4 and PC. There is still no word yet when we will see the game on Switch. Here are a few backstage photos of the commercial below.
