The official Gekijōban Seitokai Yakuindomo 2 website, the second film based on the Seitokai Yakuindomo manga from Tozen Ujiie, unveiled Wednesday’s first trailer and a new visual for the film.
Miho Okasaki joins in as Yū Hirose in the cast. The other cast members return from the franchise’s preceding film and other anime installments. Hiromitsu Kanazawa is returning as director and series script supervisor, and Makoto Furuta is returning as character designer and chief animation director. Other returning staff members include Ken Naito, Ryūsuke Araki, Ryō Tanaka, and Yūya Mori as art director, color designer, sound director, and composer, respectively. Glovision is once again credited for sound production, and King Records is the music producer.

The manga has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine since 2008 and has released 18 tankobon volumes so far. Its first TV anime adaptation by GoHands was aired for 13 episodes from July to September 2010, and its second season followed with another 13 episodes from January to March 2014. Then a 60-minute first film Seitokai Yakuindomo: The Movie was released in Japan on July 21, 2017.
Seitokai Yakuindomo centers around Ōsai Academy, a former all-girls private high school that was integrated to include boys. The student body is split between 524 girls and 28 boys. Takatoshi Tsuda is pushed into becoming the vice president of the student council, where he is the lone male member surrounded by girls.
