It has been confirmed that Monster Hunter: World has been delayed for PC once again. Originally it was scheduled to launch on January 26, 2018. For those of you who don’t know, Monster Hunter: World is an action role-playing game developed by Capcom. Playstation 4 (PS4) owners were the first to get a taste of the action, as a beta was released exclusively for PS4. On launch, the game became available for both PS4 and Xbox One.
Even now, the game was rated the 10th-best-selling PlayStation 4 game, with over 2 million copies sold. I can definitely attest to that as all my friends are hooked and won’t stop hyping about it. Why do I sound sore? Well that’s because I’m a PC gamer. Glorious.
It was announced that the PC release won’t be coming until later this year. It is estimated to be around autumn 2018. What’s the hold up?
Well Ryozo Tsujimoto, the game’s producer, stated that since this is their first PC title, they wanted to make sure to get it right. To get into more detail, he explained that the online matchmaking needed more fine tuning versus the console matchmaking which was much simpler to work.
Below will be the official PC development update from Ryozo Tsujimoto.
