The photo slide below shows what the finished $1billion Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge attraction looks like. As above you see a photo posted by Josh D’ Amaro who is the president of Disneyland Resort. The caption read: ‘So proud to introduce you to the inhabitants of Batuu! I want to thank this amazing team for their incredible dedication and passion. Yesterday’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge cast rally was unforgettable. This photo is one for the ages!’
They promise that the cast is ready to take on the world as it comes to them at the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge attraction. Bob Iger said that this will be the absolute most immersive experience the world has ever had. (Paraphrasing). The Chairman and CEO of The Walt Disney Company tweeted photos of him giving a personal tour to his dear friend Steven Spielberg. Star Wars director JJ Abrams, Star Wars producer Kathleen Kennedy also received personal tours as well. The photos show them inside and outside the Millennium Falcon along with the caption ‘best way to impress your friends… give them a personal tour of @starwars Galaxy’s Edge!
Those who choose to visit the new attraction have been told they are only allowed a four-hour time block. The reason for this at the is that they anticipate the first three weeks at the California theme park to have excessive congestion and excessive queueing. This is designed to balance that out. The attraction sits on 14 acres and will have rides, shops selling personal droids as well as lightsabers and of course ‘Star Wars-appropriate food and drink’.
