Everything to Know About HBO’s Lovecraft Country! Trailer Below.

HBO’s Lovecraft Country Synopsis:

A one-hour drama series based on the 2016 novel by Matt Ruff, follows Atticus Black as he joins his friend Letitia and his Uncle George to embark on a road trip across 1950s Jim Crow America in search of his missing father. What follows is a struggle to survive and overcome both the racist terrors of white America and the terrifying monsters that could be ripped from an H.P. Lovecraft paperback.

HBO

Jordan Peele has been one of the new horror masters since his hits such as Get Out and US. Now he is taking that challenge and his expertise into television. First was the reboot of the Twilight Zone, and now with the new Lovecraft Country show for HBO. This time he collaborates with J.J. Abrams to finally bring us his first teaser trailer.

HBO has provided viewers with a preview of what’s to come. Atticus Freeman (Jonathan Majors), his friend Letitia (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), and his Uncle George (Courtney B. Vance) are introduced in the film. It also looks at the properly named Lovecraft Country, where the crew has to visit — and promises lots of monsters fuelled by VFX. See the complete picture above.

Behind the Scenes According to HBO:

Along with Jordan Peele (Get Out) and J.J. Abrams (Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker) as executive producers will be showrunner Misha Green (Underground), director of the first episode Yann Demange (‘71), director Daniel Sackheim (HBO’s Game of Thrones and True Detective), Ben Stephenson and Bill Carraro. The series is produced by Bad Robot Productions and Monkeypaw Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
