The Nintendo Switch Revision will be coming in 2019 as was predicted. According to sources from the Wall Street Journal, suppliers and others with direct knowledge of the plan claim Nintendo Co. is doing so to keep momentum of console sales.

“Nintendo is still debating what new hardware and software features to include in the upgrade and weighing the cost of the features, people with knowledge of the discussions said,” WSJ reported

Sources told WSJ that the updated Nintendo Switch Revision model could launch as soon as summer 2019. This is the normal progression these days of consoles. There is some debate about whether or not the Switch can even be considered a console or just a handheld device that connects to the TV.  The switch is unique in functionality as an on the go console.

As of December 29th, Nintendo has sold 22.86 million Switch units and 111.10 million games worldwide.

Not expecting much of an upgrade. A nicer quality display would be great and ‘more powerful’ processor with undisclosed specs (similar to what they did with New 3DS). A longer battery would be great too. Do you have a Nintendo Switch or are you waiting for the new Nintendo Switch Revision?
