Orion Pictures will release the film through United Artists Releasing in theaters nationwide on Aug. 21, 2020

Geek Impulse has some news for you that is sure to be most excellent. Alex Winter along with Keanu Reeves has graced us with a release date and that the duo will be shooting the Bill & Ted Film during the summer. They still haven’t made music that saves the world, so perhaps this is where they do it. Fans everywhere as well as internet trendies have been talking about a third installment for several years now.

Fans of the franchise including those who might not ever have watched Bill & Ted will get a chance to sing in unity as the music will surely save the world from total chaos. In the video below, Reeves and Winter announced that the title for the film is Bill & Ted Face the Music.

According to Entertainment Weekly:

In the film, Winter, of course, will play William “Bill” S. Preston Esq., while Reeves will reprise the role of Theodore “Ted” Logan. To fulfill their rock & roll destiny, the now middle-aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it and bring harmony to the universe. Along the way, they’ll be helped by their families, old friends, and a few music legends.
